there are some decades

there are some decades 
when nothing happens and weeks 
when decades happen

everybody fights 
a battle the rest of us 
know nothing about

when wealth departed
it carried off nothing but
its own inertia

just doing nothing
is often superior
to other choices

my goal attracts me
and nothing enters my soul
which opposes it

nothing other than
the honorable can form
a part of honor

liberty is safe
so long as she finds nothing
worth more than herself

why is there something
instead of howling nothing
nice problem to have

death is patient but
nothing cheats the reaper like
deciding to live

the power to build
is as nothing compared with
